Corridor caption misleading

A photo caption that accompanied a story about the North Spokane Corridor in Thursday’s paper inaccurately suggested sources said the Spokane Transit system could alleviate the need for a new freeway.

Ophthalmologist misidentified

A story in Wednesday’s paper about the Idaho caucuses misidentified Coeur d’Alene ophthalmologist Justin StormoGipson because of a reporting error.

Lake CdA on Superfund list

Lake Coeur d’Alene is on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Superfund list, although Superfund cleanup actions haven’t yet been taken and many federal, state and local elected officials have said otherwise. A story on Feb. 2 also made that error.
