Meeting to discuss Idaho roadless plan

A plan to manage Idaho’s roadless areas will be discussed at 6 p.m. today at the Kootenai County Courthouse, 451 Government Way, Room 1A/1B.

The meeting will include a presentation by officials from the U.S. Forest Service and the state of Idaho. Public comment will follow a question-and-answer period.

The roadless plan also will be discussed at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare in Kellogg, 35 Wildcat Way.Information on the plan is available at http://roadless.fs.fed.us/idaho.shtml.
