Sonics announce Orlando League roster

SEATTLE – Top Seattle draft pick Russell Westbrook and forward Jeff Green head the SuperSonics’ roster for the Orlando Pro Summer League July 7-11.

The roster was announced Tuesday.

The 19-year-old Westbrook, from UCLA, is one of three NBA 2008 draft choices on the roster. He was the fourth overall selection in last week’s draft.

The other draft picks on the Seattle roster are forward D.J. White, from Indiana, and 6-foot-11 center DeVon Hardin, from California.

Also, the SuperSonics reported that starting point guard Earl Watson fractured his right thumb while playing in a game in Los Angeles and will have surgery on Thursday in Los Angeles.
