Figure applies to sediments

The bottom of Lake Coeur d’Alene contains as much as 83 million tons of metals-laced sediments. An article in Wednesday’s paper included incorrect information because of a reporter’s error.

Stocks data from wrong day

The stocks and mutual funds published Wednesday on Page A8 reflected Monday’s trading, not Tuesday’s, because of a technical error.

Whitworth football

The identifications of former Whitworth football players Jim Upchurch and Les Hogan were reversed in a photo published in Wednesday’s Sports section. Also, former player Les Rurey’s name was misspelled.

Player’s school

Chessey Thomas attends St. George’s School and competes in high school golf for Lewis and Clark High School. The school she attends was listed incorrectly in a Sports story Tuesday.
