Keen-eyed kids find Scoop Reporter

Scoop Reporter was spotted hiding among advertisements in last week’s Voices by the following seven winners, who are this week’s Honorary Cub Reporters and are eligible to receive free ice cream.

Congratulations to:

•Katelyn Bumbeck, 5, who attends Asumption School and is the daughter of Lisa Bumbeck. Katelyn spotted Scoop hiding on page 9 of the North Side Voice.

•Emily Meyers, 9, asked her mom, Jan Myers, to wake her up at 6:30 a.m. so she could run out and get the paper to find Scoop. Find him she did, on page 12 of the Valley Voice. Emily attends Ponderosa Elementary School.

•Jessi Wood, 11, a Hallet Elementary School student in Medical Lake and whose mom is Janiece Dallmann, found Scoop on page 7 of the West Plains Voice.

•Christopher Coles, 11, found Scoop on page 11 of the South Side Voice. He attends Hamblen Elementary and is the son of Michelle Klein.

•Tyler Siegford, 10, who attends Betty Keifer Elementary in Rathdrum, found Scoop on page 4 of the Prairie Voice. His mom is Corrie Siegford.

•Michaela Honner, 11, who attends Lake City Junior Academy in Coeur d’Alene and is the daughter of Ron and Margo Honner, spotted Scoop in Saturday’s Handle Extra.

•Peter Bautista, 10, a Greenacres Elementary School student, found Scoop hiding in Saturday’s Valley Voice. He is the son of Lualhati Bautista.

Peace and Healing Fair next week

The Peace and Healing Fair will be held at the Unity Church, 2900 S. Bernard St., on Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The fair will feature medical intuitives, massage therapists, pranic healers, quantum biofeedback, chiropractors, tarot and other readers, holistic books and supplies, and more. Local artists will also display their work.

Food and coffee will be provided by Natural Start Bakery, serving organic and local products.

The event is sponsored by the International Association of Medical Intuitives.
