More pools to open
Two more of Spokane’s six public swimming pools are scheduled to open this week.
Hillyard Pool, 5718 N. Haven St., and Comstock Pool, 800 W. 29th Ave., will open Wednesday.
Cannon and Shadle pools have been open for several weeks, and Liberty and Witter pools are still under construction.
Because of a production error, a map of Spokane’s pools ran in a smaller size in Saturday’s newspaper. It is reprinted here.
For more information about the pools, go to www.spokaneparks.org/aquatics.html.
