WASL, AYP results show little change
The state assessment test giant died today as state officials announced the results of the final WASL exams.
The results showed nothing dramatic compared with last year. State officials said that “plateau” or “flat” were good descriptions, with some ups and downs.
Results of the Adequate Yearly Progress, the federal government’s No Child Left Behind, were also released today. Only one school district, Mercer Island, met all the progress requirements.
