Police searching for missing man

Ronald Radtke
The Spokesman-Review
Spokane Police are looking for a 64-year-old man suffering from cancer who left home last week and has not been heard from since. Family members said Ronald Radtke left home Aug. 17 with a jacket and a backpack, claiming he wanted to “be a mountain man,” police officials said. Radtke, who is weak from cancer symptoms, may have headed to a wooded area, possible the Bowl and Pitcher in Riverside State Park. Radtke lives with family members, but has been reclusive, and not likely to seek people out, police said. Police are concerned for his safety and are asking anyone with information regarding Radtke’s whereabouts to call 911.
