Ferris’ Ham on Regal takes the stage

On Sunday at 2 p.m. the MayHAM will begin when Ferris High School’s Ham on Regal Players hits the stage for a special opening performance of “MayHAM at the Museum.”

Teachers, parents, preachers and more make up the Regal Players, who who have been putting on the show for 46 years. Regular shows begin Wednesday and run through March 14, at 7:30 p.m. A matinee performance will be March 14 at 1:30 p.m.

Tickets are $5 to experience Sunday’s MayHAM and seniors get in for free. Tickets for the regular nightly shows are $8 per person and the March 14 matinee is $6 per person.

Dr. Seuss celebrated

A person’s a person, no matter how small!

Northwest Christian Schools continues to celebrate Dr. Seuss, who turned 105 years young Monday, with seven performances of “Seussical the Musical.”

A cast of 73 middle school and high school students will bring Dr. Seuss’s characters to life in this unique and entertaining theatrical event, which follows Dr. Seuss’s stories of “Horton Hears a Who” and “Horton Hatches the Egg.”

The performances will begin on March 12, running March 13, March 19, March 20, and March 21, at 7 p.m. A matinee will also be held on March 15 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $8 per person and $5 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the door, one hour before the show.

A dinner theater performance is scheduled for March 14 at 6 p.m. Tickets are available through mail order only.
