Otis Orchards woman dies after rolling car

The Spokesman-Review

An Otis Orchards woman was killed Sunday evening in a one-car accident on Trent Avenue at Harvard Road, according to state troopers.

Billie K. Johnson, 56, died at the scene of the 7:50 p.m. accident.

Troopers reported that she was headed west on Trent in a 1998 Ford Mustang when she went into a ditch to the left, which caused the vehicle to roll. It was unknown initially whether she was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

I would first like to say to Billie’s family how sorry I am for your loss. I grew up with Billie’s nephews and we spent alot of Summer’s up in Spokane at her house roaming around the hills on her property and going fishing. I remember having to stay an extra week because we had spent all of our return home money, so Billie had us help her haul hay for a few days. I didn’t mind the extended stay though because I always had fun up there. She was extremely funny, easygoing, and just an incredible woman. I never got a chance to talk to her much as I got older and I really regret that now. She will be missed like crazy and I will think of her often. Bye Aunt Billie, I love ya!
