Pac-10 picks

Stanford was able to slow down Oregon last week, much to my chagrin.

Now can the Cardinal man up with USC in Los Angeles?

This is the type of game Jim Harbaugh was looking for when he moved to the Farm. Now he has to deal with it.

As always, the listed line is for your entertainment purposes only.

Stanford at USC (USC by 11): Given the way the Cardinal offense has run over people recently and the way USC’s defense has imploded, how could you not pick Stanford? Stanford 28-20.

Washington at Oregon State (OSU by 12): It’s late in the season, right? Then it’s time to jump on the Beavers’ bandwagon. OSU 28-17.

Arizona at California (Cal by 2): The Wildcats are starting their long march to glory. The Bears have been on their own long march all season. UA 42-35.

Arizona State at Oregon (Oregon by 18): Pity the poor Sun Devils. They played USC tough last week, but the offense is so poor, it hands the Trojans seven key points and a win. Oregon won’t need help. Oregon 27-3.

UCLA at Washington State (UCLA by 171/2): If the Cougars want to get their first Pac-10 win, maybe a little intervention from above would help. We’re talking snow, not a miracle, though no one in Pullman would mind the latter. UCLA 24-14.

Last week: 4-1 overall, 2-3 vs. spread. Season: 42-17 overall, 24-29 vs. spread.
