United Methodist plans harvest dinner

Spokane Valley United Methodist Church will host its annual harvest dinner on Oct. 18. The meal benefits the church and the Women’s Pledge to Mission program.

The meal will be served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The menu includes turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, carrots, green beans and a pumpkin dessert. The cost is $10 or $5 for children ages 3-10. Children under 3 get in free.

Healing ministry

Guests Tony and Janet Alward will bring their healing ministry to Greenacres Christian Fellowship beginning Sunday during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. They will also speak at 6 p.m. Sunday and at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
