Rodney Atkins headlines at fair

Today’s highlights at the Spokane County Interstate Fair include:

•FFA livestock and dairy judging contests, 10 a.m., Beef/Dairy Barn.

•Ziggy’s Kids Pedal-Tractor Pull Contest, 11 a.m., 2, 5 and 6 p.m., Steam & Gas Area.

•Spokane Area Square Dancers, noon, Community Stage.

•Wool spinning and carding demonstration, 1 p.m., Home Arts (Bay 3).

•Cake decorating contest, 6 p.m., Home Arts Area (Bay 3).

•Rodney Atkins concert, 7 p.m., Grandstand Arena.

Fair admission is $8 for adults at the gate; $5 for kids ages 7 to 13 and seniors 65 and older; and free for kids 6 and younger.
