Candidates, issues focus of forums

The League of Women Voters of the Spokane Area will present general election candidate and issue forums on Tuesday and Oct. 6 at the Spokane Council Chambers, 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.

Tuesday’s forum will focus on Spokane Public Schools board positions, Spokane Municipal Court, Legislative District 9, Washington state ballot Initiative 1033 and Referendum 71.

The Oct. 6 forum will focus on Spokane City Council races, four city propositions, fire bond and community bill of rights and more.
