Two retain seats on Spokane Park Board

From Staff Reports

Two members of the Spokane Park Board will keep their seats another five years.

The City Council on Monday unanimously voted to accept Mayor Mary Verner’s request to reappoint James Santorsola and Randy Cameron to the board.

Santorsola is the retired owner of Foley’s Auto Repair and the former chairman of the Chief Garry Neighborhood Council. Cameron is the chief operating officer of Baker Construction and Development and is the former owner of Pepperdine Sports Bar & Grill. Both men joined the board in 2008.

Under the City Charter, the Spokane Park Board decides how to spend city park money and is the final authority over park policy.
