Sleepy driver causes Adams County rollover, injuries
Three people were injured in an early morning crash Friday caused when a driver fell asleep on Interstate 90 in Adams County.
Kyle Reader, 19, of Shelley, Idaho, was westbound on I-90 in a 2004 Chevy Impala near Moses Lake about 5:50 a.m. when he fell asleep, the Washington State Patrol said. Reader overcorrected after the car drifted to the left, drove into a ditch and rolled, the WSP said.
Ejected was Kalli A. Coesens, 20, of Idaho Falls. Coesens was transported to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake and later transferred to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, where her condition was unknown Saturday.
Reader and another passenger, Isaac D. Coesens, 21, were treated and released in Moses Lake.
