Pedestrian recovering from collision on U.S. 2

A pedestrian was reported in satisfactory condition this morning at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center after walking onto U.S. Highway 2 and getting hit by a car at Rambo Road on Tuesday evening. Washington State Patrol troopers said that the pedestrian, Bryan M. Husband, 25, of Spokane, would be cited for being in the roadway. He was hit about 9 p.m. Tuesday by a 2007 Toyota Camry driven by Pavel S. Kopets, 67, of Spokane. Kopets was headed east at the time. The accident was a mile west of Airway Heights.
