Eastern Washington Eagles

RECORD: 5-10 overall, 1-1 Big Sky

COMING UP: Tonight at Montana (10-6, 1-3), 6:05; Saturday at Montana State (8-6, 3-1), 1:05 p.m.

OUTLOOK: EWU, after snapping a five-game losing streak with a 79-75 home win over Sacramento State last Thursday, opens its annual swing through Montana against a UM team that posted impressive wins over Oregon and Boise, yet lost on the road to lowly Idaho State last week. The Grizzlies’ size up front, which includes a pair of 7-footers in junior center Brian Qvale and sophomore forward Derek Selvig, should pose problems for EWU. Montana State is a different animal, opting to play its bigs on the perimeter to open up driving lanes for its quick, athletic guards.
