Day of ties as Cheney Rodeo ends

Two events ended in ties Sunday on the final day of the Cheney Rodeo at Bi-Mart Arena.

Mason Michaelis of Caldwall, Idaho, and Dallee Mason of Weister, Idaho, recorded scores of 77.0 in the bull riding, the only cowboys to earn scores Sunday. In tie-down roping, Will Casey of Mesa, Wash., and Brad Goodrich of Hermiston, Ore., both finished in 8.7 seconds.

Clint Cannon of Waller, Texas (bareback riding), Brad Rudolf of Battle Mountain, Nev. (saddle bronc riding), Erik Johnson of Eltopia, Wash. (steer wrestling), Jana Isaac of White Swan, Wash. (barrel racing) and the team of Brandon Beers of Powell Butte, Ore., and Ryan Motes of Weatherford, Texas (team roping) were also winners Sunday.
