Police: Argument over TV volume ends with stabbing

A 13-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday night by Spokane police in connection with a scissors stabbing triggered by an argument over the television volume, officers said today. The child who was stabbed suffered wounds to the left shoulder and chest; the injuries were not life-threatening, police said. Several other people were in the home in the 2800 block of West Broad Avenue during the 9:30 p.m. incident. The 13-year-old was arrested at another residence and booked into Spokane County Juvenile Detention on a charge of first-degree assault.
