Kids injured in bus crash

BELLEVUE, Wash. – A bus carrying nearly two dozen children veered off a Bellevue, Wash., road and crashed into a tree Friday evening. Officials say the driver has been seriously injured while nine children suffered minor injuries.

KOMO-TV reports the bus belongs to the Boys & Girls Club.

The injured children reportedly were taken to nearby Overlake Hospital Medical Center along with the uninjured children, who were transported as a precaution.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
