Spokane Real Estate and Property Management hired Sam Moeller as a broker. He previously worked as a territorial sales manager with PetroCard.

Dave Taigen has been hired as a sales associate for RE/MAX Inland Empire. He worked as a sales manager for Action Apparel for the past six years.

Rachel Scrudder has been hired by Next IT Corp. as a software quality assurance engineer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Eastern Washington University. The company has also hired David Ledgerwood as a senior product manager. He previously worked as director of systems integration for a company in San Francisco and holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics/economics from Whitman College.

Coffman Engineers has hired Jeff Mitchell as a structural engineer. He previously worked for DCI Engineers and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Idaho.

Esse Wolf has been hired as a sales associate for Windermere North Spokane LLC. Wolf previously worked for Exit Real Estate and Coldwell Banker.

Bill Bolton has been hired by Numerica Credit Union as a home loan officer. He previously worked for Bank of America and has 11 years of banking industry experience. He is a graduate of Whitworth University, majoring in business finance with a minor in marketing.

Potlatch Corp. has hired Lorrie Scott as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. She previously served as senior vice president and general counsel for Weyerhaeuser Realty Investors. She holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of California at Berkeley, a master’s degree in old world archaeology from the University of Chicago and a juris doctorate from Harvard Law School.

Numerica Credit Union has hired Grant Kuwada as a home loan officer. He previously worked for Bank of America. He has eight years of banking industry experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Washington State University.

Promotion

Kevin Cox has been promoted to chief operating officer of LeMaster Daniels Certified Public Accountants and Advisors’ Spokane office. He has been with the firm since 2004.

Kudos

Terri Wilson received the 2010 Power Woman Award, for outstanding community involvement and business excellence, during the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Power Women’s Summit. Wilson is vice president of operations and chief operating officer for Spokane Teachers Credit Union.

Practice Greenhealth presented Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children’s Hospital with Partner Recognition and Making Medicine Mercury-Free Environmental Excellence Awards.

Appointed

The Spokane Regional Sports Commission has appointed Bob Minnix to its board of directors. Minnix is senior associate director of athletics at Washington State University.

Dr. Adam Juviler has been appointed to a three-year term as cancer liaison physician for Providence Holy Family Hospital’s cancer program, accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.

Whitworth University has appointed John Hengesh as interim director of the Graduate Studies in Business program. He previously served as an adjunct faculty member for Whitworth’s School of Global Commerce and Management.

Linsey Mattison has opened Mattison Law Offices, PLLC in Coeur d’Alene. The firm specializes in Idaho family law including divorce, child custody and support, adoption and paternity, and also business law and criminal defense. Mattison previously worked as an associate attorney with Owens and Crandall, PLLC and as a deputy prosecutor for Kootenai County.
