State to lower flags for Spokane Valley Marine
Gregoire orders half-staff on Tuesday
OLYMPIA – Gov. Chris Gregoire is ordering state agencies around Washington to lower their flags to half-staff next Tuesday in honor of Marine Cpl. Joshua Dumaw of the Spokane Valley.
Dumaw, 23, was killed Tuesday in Nimruz Province, Afghanistan, where he was assigned to the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, of the II Marine Expenditionary Force. Dumaw is based out of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in North Carolina.
