Aid copter crashes in Pakistan

Soldiers pass by the remains of a United Nations helicopter in Pakistan’s Sindh province on Saturday.

Officials say a U.N. helicopter crash-landed in southern Pakistan while delivering food for flood victims.

Three people of the 13 on board suffered minor injuries.

The forced landing occurred Friday morning when the copter got off balance as it tried to settle on the ground in the Dadu area of Sindh province.

The U.N. has ramped up its aid program following floods which have left at least 1.8 million homeless.
