Foothills plans two events for autumn

With fall’s arrival, Foothills Community Church is hosting two events to mark the season.

An all-church hayride is planned for 6 p.m. Sunday. Bring some doughnuts to share and dress warmly for the excursion.

On Friday the women’s ministries group will host a fall kickoff event at 7 p.m. There will be a speaker, door prizes and an opportunity to learn about a ministry project to make scarves for students at Trentwood Elementary. Women attending the gathering are asked to bring a plate of finger food or snacks to share.

Bingo night

The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection will host a bingo night next Saturday beginning at 6 p.m. Pizza and drinks will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a small “white elephant” item for the prize table.
