Monroe Street Bridge reopened

All lanes of the Monroe Street Bridge are reopened after being briefly shut down by an apparent suicide attempt. A man walked onto the ledge of the bridge about 2 p.m., forcing police to close all lanes of the bridge. After about 35 minutes, police were able to talk the man down, and he was taken to a hospital for an evaluation. Police said the man told them he was going to jump off the bridge.
