Man dies in DUI rollover

A 48-year-old man died after he rolled his car while driving under the influence of intoxicants at 1:15 a.m. Saturday. The rollover occurred at the intersection of Trent Avenue and Starr Road in the Newman Lake area, according to Washington State Patrol. Donald R. Crum, of Coeur d’Alene, was westbound on Trent when he went off the side of the road. As he overcorrected, his Hyundai Accent rolled and ejected him. Crum was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, according to WSP. He was transported by MedStar to Providence Sacred Heart Hospital, where he died.
