Woman found after downtown Spokane search
Spokane police have located a 23-year-old woman after her purse and cellphone were found in Riverfront Park and her car was found parked a block away.
The woman was found in a nearby hotel, and she’s fine, police said.
Her purse and phone were found near the big red wagon slide in the park, and police had blocked off that part of the park about 8 a.m. and were treating it as a crime scene. They are reopening the area.
Sgt. Anthony Giannetto said there were no signs of foul play. The woman’s car, a red older model BMW, was towed from the city street.

“Sgt. Anthony Giannetto said there were no signs of foul play.”
If this was true from the beginning, sounds like the Spokane police are just trying to find something to do to keep themselves busy.
