Meeting to focus on transportation
Members of the public will get a chance this evening to participate in a process to draw up a vision for future transportation improvements.
A community workshop will run from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight at Adams Elementary School, 2909 E. 37th Ave., in Spokane.
The Spokane Regional Transportation Council is working with consultants from MIG Inc. to draw up a plan that is intended to create a unified vision for transportation needs ranging from pedestrian walkways to freeways.
The meeting had been planned for the Moran Prairie Library, but was moved to the elementary school.
