Congestion expected on eastbound I-90

Commuters headed east this afternoon on Interstate 90 between Sullivan and Barker roads should expect congestion. Only one lane of travel will be open due to water across the roadway, said Al Gilson, a spokesman for the Washington State Department of Transportation. That area of highway is currently undergoing construction as well. “No one told us it was going to rain this hard,” Gilson said.
