Post Falls’ girls trip up Timberwolves
Dani Failor finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds and five steals Tuesday night as Post Falls (2-1, 1-1 5A Inland Empire League) held off visiting Lake City 44-37.
The Trojans turned the game in their direction with a 15-9 second quarter.
The Timberwolves (1-1, 0-1) hit five 3-pointers, including three by Jansen Butler, who led all scorers with 15 points.
LC shot 10 of 17 from the free-throw line.
Coeur d’Alene 57, Lakeland 19: Kendalyn Brainard scored 14 points and the Viks (3-0) took advantage of 22 turnovers in a nonleague win over the Hawks (2-2) at Rathdrum.
