She attended Mt.
Royal College from 1944-1945, with her main focus being secretarial.
On September 24, 1960 she married Richard Jay Tinsley and welcomed his children Judy, Bill, Susan and Patty into her life.
On January 22, 1963 they had their son Jeffrey Tinsley.
She worked with many different companies throughout her life, including Imperial Oil Limited, the Spokesman Review, Washington Water Power and Equitable Life Insurance.
Iris was preceded in death by her sisters: Dorothy Boucher and Patricia Rogers; she is survived by her brother Harry Edwin Bebb and her husband John Robert Schultz; step-children: Judy Hawkins, Bill Tinsley, Susan Bippis, Patty Hart and her son Jeffrey Tinsley.
