Crash knocks down power pole on Wellesley

Police say a vehicle crash has knocked down a power pole at Wellesley Avenue and Willow Road. Power lines are down across Wellesley and the road was blocked, Spokane police Officer Teresa Fuller wrote on Twitter. Avista was called to deal with the downed pole. The company reported that about 2,400 customers were without power, but it had been restored to all but 13.
