It’s Camp Sunday at Veradale UCC

It’s Camp Sunday this week at the Veradale United Church of Christ. Those attending the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday are invited to wear their summer camp T-shirts. The congregation will share stories from camp and sing camp songs.

The service will be followed by a barbecue lunch. Donations will be accepted for the meal, which is a fundraiser to send church youth to summer camp. The church is at 611 N. Progress Road.

Church auction

The Spokane Valley Nazarene Church will host its annual Cruzin’ to the ’50s auction April 28. The doors will open at 4 p.m. and dinner will be served at 5, followed by a live auction at 6. Tickets purchased in advance are $7 for adults and $6 for seniors and children younger than 12. Tickets at the door will be $10 and $9.
