Obituary: Stevig, Robert L. “Bob”

STEVIG,
Robert L.
“Bob” (Age 75)

Entered into rest on April 25, 2012.

He was born August 4, 1936 in Spokane, WA.

Bob graduated from North Central High School and went on to attend college for two years at Eastern Washington Uni-versity.

Bob served for eight years as a Navy reservist and worked in auto parts sales until back trouble forced him to retire in 1994.

Bob was an honest man and when he sold something he would tell you anything that was wrong with it.

He was a very caring man with a good sense of humor.

In addition to belonging to his local Eagles and Moose Lodges, Bob also loved to play pool.

One of Bob’s hobbies was to tear apart and repair old radios that he would then donate to nursing homes.

He is survived by his loving wife Shirley; son, Craig Stevig of Auburn, WA; two step-daughters Connie Peterson and Sally Basurto of Tucson, AZ; step-son Ronnie Lange of Spokane and four grandchildren Nick, Ashley and Jordan Lange of Tucson and Nathan Hueser of Spokane.

The family also wishes to express their tremendous gratitude to Horizon Hospice for the expert care they provided Bob in his final days.

As per Bob’s wishes no memorial service shall be held.
