Week in review

Fairfield City Council – The council took several votes, including awarding a sewer improvement project to Bowen Brothers in the amount of $77,125. A public hearing was held on proposed changes to the town’s water ordinance.

The council voted to contract with Empire Disposal to provide a recycling bin for the town. It will be emptied as needed.

The council also discussed dust control and mosquito fogging.
