Getting away: A blaze known as Pine Creek Fire burns on both sides of East River Road, as residents leave the area in Paradise Valley Wednesday near Livingston, Mont. Residents caught unaware were forced to flee the town of Pine Creek without packing any bags. Rapidly expanding wildfires across a broad swath of southern Montana have caused injuries and burned structures and vehicles, authorities said Thursday. At least nine large fires are burning in Montana, officials said.
