Obituary: Shives, Clara
Age 87
Clara was born July 3, 1925 in Govan, WA to Martin and Mabel (Mattison) Axel.
She graduated from Deer Park High School with the class of 1943.
Clara and her husband, Harry, operated a farm north of Deer Park and then moved to Deer Park upon retiring.
Clara is preceded in death by her husband, Harry; and siblings, Gordon, Arliss, LaVern and Glen.
She is survived by her children, Charles Shives (Beth) of Yakima and Patty Wainwright (Glen) of Deer Park.
Her surviving grandchildren, Jeff, Suzanne, Brad and Gregory; and great-grandchildren, Haley, Justin, Jaclyn, Braeden, Mattison and Korbin were the light of her life.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday from1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME, 1306 N. MONROE ST. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, December 10, 2012 in the Sunset Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley.
