Police seek suspect in N. Spokane stabbing
Spokane police are looking for a man suspected of stabbing another man in North Spokane on Tuesday night.
Following the stabbing, Ezra L. Bedeski, 36, ran from the area near Wellesley Avenue and Crestline Street around 9:20p.m., a news release from the Spokane Police Department said. Bedeski was still armed.
Police attempted to track Bedeski with a police dog, but were unsuccessful. The 26-year-old victim was taken to an area hospital after being stabbed in the neck. His name was not released.
The fight appears to have been over a woman: Bedeski is the former boyfriend of the victim’s girlfriend, the release said.
Police said they have probable cause to arrest Bedeski for first-degree assault. Anyone with information on his location is asked to call 911.
