Passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 in Spokane.

Leonard was born in Seattle, WA and moved to Spokane in 1999, after his retirement from Hostess Bakery.

A generous man he was always willing to help others and they all were better persons for having met him.

Leonard loved “toys”; boats, motorcycles any type of recreational vehicle.

He was also an avid gardener, having built his own greenhouse.

His lawn was the best around.

Leonard will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his lifetime companion Patricia Blumer; sons Mark and Leonard Gene Blumer; and grandchildren Sunshine Blumer, Jacob and Robert Paul.

Leonard was preceded in death by a daughter Debra Paul and sister Carol Ann Chapman.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 1:00-3:00PM at Hennessey Smith Funeral Home 2203 N. Division.
