UW-Boise moved up

The first game in the renovated Husky Stadium will take place a week earlier than scheduled – which University of Washington officials say is evidence of their comfort in the progress of the construction. Washington and Boise State announced Monday the teams will play Aug. 31, 2013, the first game at Husky Stadium after its current $250 million renovation. The game had been slated for Sept. 7. The schools said the new date was deemed “more advantageous” for each school. Boise State has already scheduled another game for Sept. 7, at home against Tennessee-Martin.
