Betty Burnett passed away July 7, 2012.
She was born July 13, 1931 to Cecil and Freda Blackwood in Spokane, WA.
Betty lived in Spokane her entire life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Arthur.
She is survived by her son, Lawrence W. Burnett of Spokane, WA; and her daughter Virginia L. Horton of Post Falls, ID.
Betty also leaves behind her brothers, William Blackwood of Tacoma, WA, and Richard Blackwood of Olympia, WA; and her sister, Burleigh Jo Fry of Seattle, WA.
She will be missed by her grandchildren, Jenifer L. Walker, Andrew P. Horton, Kenneth W. Horton, Noel E. Horton, and Elizabeth P.A.
Craft; and her great-grandchildren, Janel Horton, MiKayla Horton, Connor T. Horton, Marcus Walker, and Kaitlyn Walker as well as her great great-grandchildren Rosalyn Horton and Jaquelyn Horton.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betty’s memory to Cancer Research or Hospice of Spokane.
