Gosline delivers for Bandits at American Legion state tournament

Anthony Gosline drilled a two-run double with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning Sunday to rally the Spokane Bandits to a 4-3 victory over Hanford in the AAA American Legion state tournament in Selah, Wash.

Tim Yoshihara went the distance on the mound for the Bandits. He allowed three runs on seven hits with four strikeouts.

Devin Atchison had two hits for Spokane, which plays the Twin City Titans today in a loser-out game.

State AA

All three Spokane teams lost in the AA state tournament in Anacortes, Wash.

Ferndale blanked Gonzaga Prep 3-0, holding the Bullpups to four hits. G-Prep faces Montesano in a loser-out game today at 1 p.m.

Mead and University were both eliminated. Mead was no-hit in an 11-1 loss to Lynden, while U-Hi lost 11-4 to Montesano.
