Portland defeats Spokane Shine

The Spokane Shine had their opportunities in the second half but couldn’t capitalize in a 2-0 loss to the Portland Rain in a Women’s Premier Soccer League match Saturday at Joe Albi Stadium.

Spokane created four scoring chances within the first 10 minutes of the second half but couldn’t get on the board.

The Shine (2-2-2) host Emerald City on July 6. Spokane will play three of its four remaining matches at Joe Albi.
