Kevin W. O’Connell passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2012, in Spokane.
He was born to Bill and Christie O’Connell on October 23, 1952 in Inglewood, California.
In the 6th grade, Kevin’s family moved to Rockford, Washington where he attended the local elementary school and graduated from Freeman High School.
He then graduated from Pacific Lutheran University and went on to obtain his masters of marketing analysis at Washington State University.
He worked for Cominco American for eighteen years, and then went on to ZAKS Designs as a Senior Forecast Analyst since June 6, 1996.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne, of 27 years, their two beautiful daughters, Erin and Kaitlyn both of Seattle.
His daughters will always be his pride and joy.
He is also survived by one sister, Karen (Harvey) Koch; niece Laurie and nephew Chad; cousins Sheila Brady of Seattle and John O’Connell of California; and brothers-in-law John and Mike Alice.
Last but not least, his faithful companion Chester.
Kevin was an avid gardener, reader, loved to spend time at the lake, and took great pride in managing the family farm in Rockford.
Visitation will be Monday, March 19th, from 12-7pm at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 11am and will take place at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 316 E. 24th, Spokane.
Burial will be at Rockford Fairview Cemetery.
