Fairfield City Council – A special meeting was held to discuss issues with the Main Street rehabilitation project. Sections of the new concrete are failing and there are issues with the railroad crossing. Union Pacific is requiring that ADA sections of the sidewalk must be 12 feet from the tracks, which means those sections must be replaced. Council members discussed who should be responsible for paying for replacing the crumbling concrete. (Source: Town Clerk Cheryl Loeffler)
