Walk for Wishes - Make-A-Wish Washington is hosting its third annual event. This 5K walk and fun run is a family-friendly event that will generate funds to help grant the wishes of local children with life-threatening medical conditions. Food, beverages and family entertainment provided. Registration is free but a minimum $100 fundraising goal is encouraged for each participant to support future wish granting. “Hearts of Gold” Parade - Official kick-off for Valleyfest weekend. Southeast Spokane County Fair - The 68th annual fair includes animals, exhibits, pancake breakfast, live music, fun run, parade, cow chip bingo, 3-on-3 basketball tournament and horse show.
