McLAUGHLIN, Paul

Paul was born in Old Town, Maine on February 10, 1932.

He enlisted in the Army in 1949 and was stationed at Camp Hanford, Washington.

He passed away on September 12, 2012, at the age of 80, in Kennewick, Washington.
In 1951, he met Shirley Smith in Richland,
Washington.

They married in 1953 and raised three children, Edward, Carl and Christena.


Paul retired from Burlington Northern Railroad in 1993 after working 38 years.


He is survived by his wife Shirley; sons Edward (Lauri), and Carl; daughter Christena Angelo (Mark); six grandchildren; 11 great-grand- children; and his sister Helen Avery in Maine.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Edith McLaughlin, three brothers, George, Fred “Buster”, Walter McLaughlin; and three sisters, Pearl Wade, Mae Wickett and Phylis Sharp.
Paul’s family would like to extend a special thanks to all the friends and neighbors for their wonderful support and help through Paul’s illness and our trying times.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 20th, at 1:00 p.m., at Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick with a reception to follow.
