Obituary: Weatherman, Harold Leland

WEATHERMAN, Harold Leland In Loving Memory Of Harold Leland Weatherman, a long time resident of the Colville, Washington area, passed away on July 27, 2013 in Colville.

He was born on January 16, 1929 in Inchelium, Washington the son of Ralph and Mary (Kohler) Weatherman.

Harold married Ann Benson in 1948.

He began working for the Draper Lumber Mill as a mechanic.

From there he transferred to Bronson’s Implement and finished his working career at the State Highway Department.

His family grew with the birth of their children, Judy, Steve, Mike and Rick.

Herald enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and other sporting events with family and friends over the years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann; daughter, Diane; parents; two brothers Roy Weatherman and Don Weatherman.

Herald is survived by his daughter, Judy Lawson of Omak, WA; sons, Steve Weatherman and wife Sandy of Chewelah, WA, Mike Weatherman and wife Alice of Kettle Falls, WA Rick Weatherman and wife Cindy of Reseda, CA; sister, Carol of Colville, WA; nine grand- children and twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Mountain View Park Pavilion with a reception to follow at the Colville Eagles Lodge, 608 N. Wynne St. Colville, WA 99114.
