Obituary: Tumlinson, Shirley
She is survived by her four sons, Allen, Marc, Cory and Eric; sister, Maurine Deines; and brother Dick Atherton.
She loved both her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing and computer games.
She is to be praised for the years of personal care given to her husband Verno Tumlinson, before his death on April 22, 2012.
Many thanks go to caregiving teams from both Holy Family Hospital and Manor Care Health Services.
We especially appreciate the loyal love and support given to mom by her spiritual family, the Shadle Park Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
There is no way to be a perfect mother, and a million ways to be a good one.
Our mother was good….with chocolate cake on the side.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, 3:30PM, December 28, 2013 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 2824 N. Lee St., Spokane, WA.
